I grew up outside of a small town, LaPorte City, IA, home to about 2,300 people. I've always had a vivid imagination, but I never thought I’d be here, doing what I do. It was a pivotal moment in school when I first realized I was good at creating content with a camera. A professor asked me to stay after class to discuss my first real video. It was in this moment, she told me I had “it.” I really wasn't entirely sure what that meant. At the time, I was just trying to please my parents and get a degree. When the technical aspects of the camera came naturally to me, and I discovered the impact I could make with it, I found myself gravitating towards it. School was never my strong suit and I was generally bored in class. But, I did get the degree and began to put my skills to the test. I worked and created, but always for other people. I wasn't happy doing just that. A couple years ago, I made the decision to make photography/videography my way of life. I needed to do it for myself. It was the only way that I could find my style, master my craft and ultimately, achieve happiness.

I'm always interested in collaborating and creating content, so feel free to contact me. I hope that these photos and videos I’ve created can inspire you to find yourself, find your style or tell an inspiring story.
